Linking People and Plants

We know the power of “linking people and plants.” It is at the heart of our mission at the Horticultural Therapy Institute to provide high-quality training in horticultural therapy. We support people who nurture plants and gardens to improve the lives of others. Your support of the non-profit Horticultural Therapy Institute enables us, through the good work of our students, to impact people in nursing homes, hospitals, prisons, youth programs, and mental health centers in communities across the nation. As part of HTI’s ongoing educational efforts, we have joined the ColoradoGives Program to help raise funds for horticultural therapy training programs and educational videos.

How to Donate

Colorado Gives Day is Tuesday, December 5, 2017. On this day, thousands of people will come together to support Colorado nonprofits like ours. When you donate to HTI, you’re helping us train horticultural therapists to work with aging adults, at-risk youth, veterans, and those recovering from illness, addiction or imprisonment. Through videos and other communications, you’re also helping us educate community groups about the power and value of horticultural therapy to heal and rehabilitate those in need.

Please help us reach our goal of $3,000. You can give as little as $10. Every donation counts. When we receive your tax-deductible donation on Dec. 5, we will receive a portion of a special $1 million incentive fund. And beginning November 1, you can schedule your donation early. In addition to secure online donations, we accept personal checks. Checks can be mailed to: Horticultural Therapy Institute, P.O. Box 461189, Denver, CO 80246.

Recurring Donations

Your recurring donation to HTI is support we can count on.  When you use this option, you are making a commitment to donate a particular amount over a specific period of time. You can give as little as $10 per week, month, quarter or year. Simply set up your donation schedule and your deductions will happen automatically, straight from your credit card, debit card or bank account. To learn more, visit here.
