Learn how to combine a passion for gardening and helping people through the innovative field of horticultural therapy. Join students from across the country to learn more by enrolling in the first class in the certificate program, Fundamentals of Horticultural Therapy this fall in one of three locations. To complete a full certificate in HT plan to attend three additional classes. Each will be offered in Colorado and California in 2013.

The American Horticultural Therapy Association -- (AHTA) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote and advance the profession of horticultural therapy as a therapeutic intervention and rehabilitative medium. Gardens on Spring Creek -- after 17 years of diligence and hard work by many dozens of citizens, and the "thumbs up" from thousands of local voters, the City of Fort Collins now has a community-oriented botanic gardens. The Gardens is located at 2145 S. Centre Avenue, on an attractive 18 acre site along and to the south of Spring Creek.
Colorado State University/Department of Horticulture -- all classes offered by the Horticultural Therapy Institute are accredited for academic credit by Colorado State University's Department of Horticulture.
Horticultural Therapy Concentration offered at Colorado State University-- In conjunction with the Horticultural Therapy Institute, Colorado State University will be offering a horticultural therapy concentration (a Bachelor of Science degree) beginning Spring of 2008. Specific HT classes are delivered by the HT Institute.
Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro -- Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro, North Carolina, provides compassionate, quality care for persons who are living with a progressive and life-limiting illness and their families. The Hospice has hosted the Introduction to Horticultural Therapy class.
Anchor Center For Blind Children -- The mission of Anchor Center for Blind Children is to teach visually impaired infants, young children and their families, providing hope and a nurturing environment where children reach their highest potential.
The Gardens at Heather Farm -- The Gardens at Heather Farm: Established in 1968, the gardens are a living museum, a wildlife habitat, an outdoor classroom, and a beautiful place for everyone to enjoy.
Elkus Ranch -- The Richard J. Elkus Ranch is an environmental education center and working ranch which provides unique hands-on learning experiences for Greater San Francisco Bay Area youth.
